Physic Language

Languages

The Physic language has many names, natively Ukum̌u, of which is often understood to reveal or expose one's position in the larger magic conflict in the Magicum. The language is used by the Wizards and is learned in school. It is rarely spoken out loud outside of wizard dominated spaces or for secrecy. The nature of this language is that it is contructed from the ground up by the wizards in order to generate and cast spells, enchantments, curses, &c. As such the writing system or style used is indicative of which magic school the wizard learned it from. Despite the infrequent spoken use, it is used extensively in writing.

Wizards are the traditional enemies of Mages (who traditionally work within religious organizations). Wizards are known for their scientific approach to magic and cloistered nature.
The development of wizards traditionally looks like this: wizard school for 10 years, being a wizard apprentice for ~5 years, wandering wizard then stationary wizard (has a wizard tower).
